Driftwaters Resort to West Yellowstone
35 miles / 1452ft climb
Because we were under no time pressure today, we packed in the morning instead of the evening, gave ourselves an extra hour in bed and had frequent stops along the route so despite the lower mileage today, we arrived at our destination in the late afternoon as usual!
The hills today were manageable and our route took us along the Madison River most of the way to West Yellowstone. With little traffic for much of our rides, some stunning views and a fabulous brunch stop on the river, it was a beautiful ride.

Booking into our accommodation for two nights felt like a real treat. No having to unpack and repack immediately, time to do some laundry and have a little down time.

We pick up a hire care and drive into Yellowstone National Park where we spend the evening in absolutely awe at the landscapes and structures we visit.
We are exhausted when we arrive back late evening after a day of cycling and sightseeing that seemed to pack endless punches.

So glad you’re able to enjoy your surroundings while recharging your batteries. Gorgeous pics! x
Wonderful. Enjoy the time to relax and recharge!
