Buzzing

With only 10 days to go until we set off from Cheltenham and 13 days until we start our journey from Brighton, there is a palpable feel of excitement amongst the team. Our WhatsApp group chat is buzzing as we share stories about our training rides, compare notes on our respective packing lists, talk technical about servicing our bikes and of course confirm our final travel plans. There are also many light hearted exchanges as the group get to know each other. For many of the group, the first time we will meet each other will be in Brighton, by which time five team members will have travelled transatlantic from Canada and the USA, four will have travelled from Norway and Geoff will have made the 32 hour journey from Melbourne. Cycling from Cheltenham to Brighton suddenly seems the easy option!
