Cycle Across America – Day 20

Lolo to Darby

58 miles / 1339ft climb

We say farewell to Jim and Denise. It has been an absolute joy to cycle with them and spend time with them again and their support for us over the past few days definitely gives them superhero status too.

A new chapter of this adventure begins today as we cycle with Paula, Julia, Steve and Marianne, initially weaving our way along a lovely bike path with the snowcapped mountains our backdrop, a lovely peaceful retreat for lunch and afterwards along the highway, through some quaint towns to our accommodation for the evening. A lovely house nestled in beautiful countryside where the filming of Yellowstone has taken place over the past four years.

Mid Morning Stop
Donating to Cure Parkinson’s

A lovely BBQ, fire pit and hot tub made for the perfect evening. Along with some reminiscing of the past eight years during which we have enjoyed many cycle adventures together. It is great to be reunited and to share the next few days with these wonderful people.

It wouldn’t be right to finish without sharing with you some of the most remarkable cycling tans ever seen.

Razor sharp tan lines…….
