Darby to Wisdom
53 miles / 3363ft climb
Super hero status for today has to go to John. When a 8.75 mile hill averaging 6% with my bike fully loadedwas getting the better of me, he went ahead to the top of the hill with his fully loaded bike, dropped off his panniers and came back down to take my panniers so that I could get to the top without the added weight. Surrounded with encouragement and support from everyone else, I did eventually make it to the top but this was a truly tough day.
Too exhausted to write anymore tonight, I will fill in the blanks tomorrow .
